Highland Development Services (HDS) is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented Civil Engineers to join our office in Windsor, CO. We are an exciting civil engineering company with a strong background in Northern Colorado and great backlog for the future. The desired Design/Project Engineer position is anticipated to assist our Team in site and roadway design, grading, drainage analysis, utility design, project coordination, and plan & report production. This position will require: 

Responsibilities 

• Civil Engineering Infrastructure and Site Design 
• Water, Wastewater, Site Grading, Storm Drainage, and Infrastructure Design 
• Report and Specification Preparation 
• Cost Estimating 
• Permitting Assistance 
• Construction Administration 

Minimum Qualifications/Skills 

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering 
• 0 to 8 years Civil Engineering site design experience 
• E.I.T. or P.E. License preferred 
• Northern Colorado experience preferred, including site design, grading, drainage analysis, utility design, cost estimating, report preparation, construction document and specification preparation. 
• Proficient AutoCAD Civil 3D skills for public infrastructure and land development design. 
• Familiar with hydrology & hydraulic computations and software. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and project tasks. 
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills required. 

• Independently motivated within a team-oriented environment.
